Importance: Asymptomatic blood pressure (BP) elevations in the hospital are commonly treated with as-needed BP medications, including recurring as-needed and 1-time administration. Veterans represent a population at risk of ischemic events from rapid lowering of BP, but the impact of as-needed BP medication use in this population is unknown.
Objective: To assess the risks of acute kidney injury (AKI) and other outcomes from as-needed BP medication administration in a hospitalized veteran cohort.
Asymptomatic IgM gammopathy encompasses IgM monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and asymptomatic Waldenström macroglobulinemia (AWM), both having a risk of progression to symptomatic disease. Here, we assessed the risk of progression and the mortality of 956 patients with asymptomatic IgM gammopathy across 25 Spanish centers. After a median follow-up of 5.

A six-site united atom model was employed with a force field incorporating an intramolecular torsional term that accurately describes gauche and trans conformers. Analysis of the radial distribution function showed that succinonitrile adopts a body-centered cubic arrangement below its melting point, transitioning to a less ordered state in the liquid phase.
