Purpose: To compare the educational outcomes of remote instruction (RI) in impression-taking using smart glasses with those of face-to-face instruction (FI) and paper-based self-learning (SL) and analyze the educational effects, aiming to develop a remote clinical training strategy.
Methods: Participants were recruited from among the dental residents who were trained in the first-year clinical program at the university hospital in 2023. The participants were divided into three groups as the original skill level was equal, and the groups were assigned RI, FI, printed guidance, and SL.

Aims: Schizophrenia (SZ) is a brain disorder characterized by psychotic symptoms and cognitive dysfunction. Recently, irregularities in sharp-wave ripples (SPW-Rs) have been reported in SZ. As SPW-Rs play a critical role in memory, their irregularities can cause psychotic symptoms and cognitive dysfunction in patients with SZ.

Methods: Rats underwent maxillary pulp exposure, and Fluoro-Gold (FG) was administered in the ipsilateral whisker pad (WP). Head withdrawal threshold (HWT) upon mechanical stimulation of the WP was recorded, and liposomal clodronate clophosome-A (LCCA; macrophage depletion agent) was administered to the TG at three and four days after pulp exposure.
Glycomonomers having -glycosidic linkages were prepared from a known glycosyl amine, -acetyl-d-glucosamine (GlcNAc). Radical polymerization of the glycomonomers gave a series of glycopolymers displaying various sugar densities, which were models of the core structure of Asn-linked-type glycoproteins. In addition, fluorometric analyses of wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) against the glycopolymers were carried out, and the results showed unique binding specificities on the basis of flexibility of sugar moieties.
