Recurrent pericarditis poses a significant challenge to clinicians, particularly when patients are unresponsive or intolerant to conventional treatments. Accurate diagnosis of recurrent pericarditis, potentially facilitated by collaboration with other medical specialties, is crucial for ensuring timely and appropriate treatment of symptoms and prevention of further episodes. We present a case of a 52-year-old male patient with a history of multiple episodes of pericarditis, who was admitted to the Cardiology Department due to another recurrence.

This umbrella review systematically appraises published meta-analyses of both observational and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for the association of risk and protective factors for arrhythmia recurrence after CA and DC cardioversion of AF.

Background: Concurrent evidence about cardiogenic shock (CS) characteristics, treatment and outcome does not represent a global spectrum of patients and is therefore limited. The aim of this study was to investigate these regional differences.
Methods: To investigate regional differences in presentation characteristics, treatments and outcomes of patients treated with all types of cardiogenic shock (CS) in a single calendar year on a multi-national level.
