Improving care for gender-diverse (GD) patients necessitates developing informatics tools and approaches to support optimal laboratory testing. This requires increased functionality and standardization of laboratory information system/electronic health record and data collection processes. Data tailored to accommodate immediate clinical care and clinical decision support (CDS) also have an impact on interoperability and downstream data needs for patients.

Yet, a fundamental challenge in comprehensively assessing changes in process activity is the systematic lack of long-term observational debris-flow records. Here, we reconstruct the longest, continuous time series (1626-2020) of debris flows at Multetta, a supply-limited torrential system in the Eastern Swiss Alps.

However, studies of bottlenecked populations combining genomic approaches with fitness data are rare. Theory predicts that severe bottlenecks deplete genetic diversity, exacerbate inbreeding depression and decrease population viability.

The potential of X-ray computed tomography for xylological and dendrochronological analyses of Egyptian mummy labels.

X-ray computed tomography (XRCT) imaging allows non-destructive visualization of the structure of various materials. Applied to wooden objects, it allows determination of their morphologies or manufacturing techniques, but also measurement of growth ring widths. We have applied XRCT to a selection of 38 mummy labels.
