The precise etiology of BN remains unknown, with factors such as genetics, biological influences, emotional disturbances, societal pressures, and other challenges contributing to its prevalence. First-line treatment typically includes pharmacotherapy, which has shown moderate effectiveness.

Therefore, health education, prevention and monitoring of health determinants is important at every stage of ontogenesis. This requires a thorough knowledge of the schoolchild's environment, perceived as a wide set of stressors, including not only genetic but also epigenetic factors.

Purpose: The aim of the study was to examine how the weight of a school backpack with school supplies carried on the right or left shoulder influences body posture in schoolchildren.

Methods: The study of body posture was carried out on a group of 65 pupils aged 7, using the mora projection method in the following eight positions: (four positions for the diagonal loading of the right shoulder and four positions for the loading of the left shoulder) 1 - the habitual posture, 2 - the posture after a 10-minute asymmetric loading, 3 - the posture one minute after removing the load and 4 - the posture two minutes after removing the load. The fitness level was measured using the Sekita test.

The Impact of Caregivers' Anxiety on Patients' Anxiety before Fast-Track Knee Arthroplasty.

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY Anxiety may have negative repercussions on the surgery including poorer outcomes. On the other hand, the majority of patients reporting preoperative anxiety fear not receiving enough attention from a caregiver. In patients undergoing fast-track knee arthroplasty, we determined the relationship between patients' preoperative anxiety and the anxiety the patient's caregiver.

Electronic Cigarettes and Awareness of Their Health Effects.

The use of electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes is strongly on the rise. The literature confirms that in the process of quitting smoking using an electronic device dispensing nicotine should be a transitional stage before the complete cessation of smoking. The aim of the present study was to assess the popularity of e-cigarettes, the underlying reasons for use of such nicotine products, and the level of awareness of health hazards associated with e-cigarettes.
