To address the global demand for sustainable energy, integrating biogas into internal combustion engines is becoming more important. Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engines, known for high efficiency and low emissions, offer a promising solution. This study investigates the optimal injector location for using biogas in HCCI engines, with diethyl ether (DEE) as the pilot fuel, evaluating three positions: (i) at the port, (ii) 6 cm away (Manifold 1), and (iii) 10 cm away (Manifold 2).

By combining the low lithiation potential advantages, one can arrive at energy efficient electrodes bestowed with cost effective and eco-friendly benefits required for practical LIB applications. In the present study, Zn and Mn-salts along with C were successfully extracted from the spent zinc carbon batteries through a simple and efficient hydrometallurgy approach and decomposed thermally to obtain ZnMnO at 350 °C for 12 h and 450 °C for 3 h.

To test these in South India, we carried out a case control study of 323 Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) patients, 56 Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) patients and 254 endemic controls. The polymorphisms were studied by PCR - SSP and ARMS-PCR methods and results analyzed for various clinical and demographic parameters.

A novel organic modifier (lithium salt of 6-aminohexanoic acid; Li-AHA) was employed to modify MWNTs, which was utilized to intercalate Li-AHA modified MWNTs into the partially exfoliated EG gallery. Morphological investigation showed the intercalation of Li-AHA modified MWNTs into a partially exfoliated EG gallery in an EG/MWNTs-m2h hybrid, whereas the unmodified EG/MWNTs-h hybrid mixture exhibited a separate identity in the mixture.

CFR 67 was studied by submerged fermentation. Amongst various carbon sources tested, glucose and sucrose supported production of significantly (P < 0.
