[Relativity of the management of skin cancers. A plea for synergy between general practitioners and the dermatologist-oncologist].

The clinical diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous cancers represent a frequent situation in cancerology. About one third of all human cancers take their origin from the skin. The general practitioner and the dermatologist-oncologist play the key role in that field of health care.

[Cutaneous melanomas, a spectrum of emerging cancers in women of Wallonia. Outlook by the Mosan Study Group of Pigmented Neoplasms].

The Mosan Study Group of Pigmented Neoplasms was founded about 15 years ago. It has collected more than 20,000 cutaneous malignancies including melanomas and basal and squamous cell carcinomas. The incidence of these cancers is on the rise in Wallonia.

Cutaneous presentation of the cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome.

We present the clinical and histologic features of the cutaneous lesions in a girl with cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome. Marked tortuosity with hyperkeratosis of the sweat ducts and dystrophy of the hair shafts appear to be the cutaneous hallmarks of this syndrome.

Poikiloderma, alopecia, retrognathism and cleft palate: the PARC syndrome. Is this an undescribed dominantly inherited syndrome?

We report a clinicopathological observation concerning a man and his son affected by the same disease. The main cutaneous lesions included poikiloderma congenitale and generalized alopecia respecting the pubic area. These anomalies were associated with cleft palate and Robin sequence in the boy.
