Objective: The public, regulators, and domain experts alike seek to understand the effect of deployed SAE level 4 automated driving system (ADS) technologies on safety. The recent expansion of ADS technology deployments is paving the way for early stage safety impact evaluations, whereby the observational data from both an ADS and a representative benchmark fleet are compared to quantify safety performance.

Methods: In January 2024; a working group of experts across academia, insurance, and industry came together in Washington, DC to discuss the current and future challenges in performing such evaluations.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a multifactorial condition with heterogeneous pathophysiology, including intestinal permeability alterations. The aim of the present study was to assess the ability of a probiotic blend (PB) consisting of two strains (CECT7484 and CECT7485) and one strain of (CECT7483) to recover the permeability increase induced by mediators from IBS mucosal biopsies and to highlight the underlying molecular mechanisms. Twenty-one IBS patients diagnosed according to ROME IV criteria (11 IBS-D and 10 IBS-M) and 7 healthy controls were enrolled.

Background: Postharvest lemons are affected by several fungal infections, and as alternatives to chemical fungicides for combating these infections, different microbial biocontrol agents have been studied, with the Clavispora lusitaniae 146 strain standing out. Although strain 146 has proven to be an effective agent, the influence of a microbial biological control agent on the postharvest lemon microbiome has not been studied until now. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate how the epiphytic microbiome of postharvest lemons is affected by the application of the biocontrol yeast C.
