Introduction: We present the case studies of three patients requiring revision for premature failure of total hip arthroplasty (THA).
Case Report: All patients received titanium nitride (TiN)-coated heads made of titanium alloy TiALV as part of their index total hip replacements. At the time of revision surgery, intraoperative findings included partial or complete delamination of the TiN head coating and wear/deformation of the TiALV heads.
One of the fundamental sensors utilized in the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) is the radar sensor. Automotive-related functions need highly precise detection and range of traffic and surroundings; otherwise, the whole ADAS performance suffers. The radar placement beneath a bumper or a cover, the age or exposure to accidents or vehicle vibration, vehicle integration, and mounting tolerances will impact the angular performance of the radar sensor.

The risk for early aseptic loosening has been associated to certain surgical approaches and implant designs. This study determines misalignment of collared/collarless stems and the rate of subsidence using the anterolateral approach (ALA) compared to implantations via the direct lateral approach (DLA).

Although general principles of management for periprosthetic joint infection apply, there might be certain aspects worth to be considered. We present a case of a 78-year-old patient, who was referred in preseptic conditions 10 years following bilateral TKA.

Background And Purpose: There is an ongoing controversy in respect of the usage of continuous passive motion (CPM) following total knee arthroplasty (TKA). We analysed the impact of CPM on the early rehabilitation after TKA and the clinical outcome over the time.
Methods: Forty patients were prospectively randomized to postoperative protocols following TKA.
