Background/objective: Platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC) has limited therapeutic options, and the role of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in improving survival outcomes remains uncertain. We performed a systematic review to evaluate the oncological benefit of CRS on PROC patients and the associated surgical morbidity and mortality.
Methods: We followed a prospective protocol according to PRISMA guidelines.

Objective: To determine the incidence of venous thromboembolism in patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy in UK gynecological cancer centers. Secondary outcomes included incidence and timing of venous thromboembolism since cancer presentation, impact on cancer treatment, and mortality.
Methods: All UK gynecological cancer centers were invited to participate in this multi-center retrospective audit through the British Gynecological Cancer Society.
Introduction And Relevance: Paraneoplastic hyponatremia is often secondary to syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) by tumour cells. Immature ovarian teratomas (IOT) are uncommon and may present with SIADH.
Case Report: A 26-year-old female presented with a 3-month history of abdominal pain and constipation.
Objective: To identify the effects of patient risk factors and pelvic venous reflux (PVR) patterns on treatment outcomes of Pelvic Vein Embolisation (PVE) for Pelvic Venous Disorder (PeVD).
Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort review assessing population, intervention, comparison, and outcomes (PICO) for women undergoing PVE for PVR January 2017-January 2021. We identified 190 patients who had completed both questionnaires and who had given consent for their information to be used for research (Median age 46, IQR 40-52).
Background: Parallel panel germline and somatic genetic testing of all patients with ovarian cancer (OC) can identify more pathogenic variants (PVs) that would benefit from PARP inhibitor (PARPi) therapy, and allow for precision prevention in unaffected relatives with PVs. In this study, we estimate the cost-effectiveness and population impact of parallel panel germline and somatic BRCA testing of all patients with OC incorporating PARPi therapy in the United Kingdom and the United States compared with clinical criteria/family history (FH)-based germline BRCA testing. We also evaluate the cost-effectiveness of multigene panel germline testing alone.
