Heat pumps are an energy-efficient and increasingly cost-effective solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector. However, other clean energy technologies, such as rooftop solar, are less likely to be adopted in underserved communities, and thus policies incentivizing their adoption may funnel support to well-resourced communities. Unlike previously studied technologies, the effects of heat pumps on household energy bills may be positive or negative depending on local climate, energy costs, building features, and other factors.

Previously, some allergic conditions involving pruritus have been linked to migraine, raising the possibility that migraine and itching may be governed by similar underlying mechanisms. We aimed to investigate the efficacy of Lasmiditan, a highly selective agonist of the 5-hydroxytryptamine 1F (5-HT1F) receptor and a recently approved medication for the treatment of migraine headaches, in ameliorating serotonergic itching. This work deals with the fabrication of lignin containing cellulose nanofiber (LCNF)/AgSe films for thermoelectric applications. AgSe nanoparticles were synthesized within the LCNF network through methods, employing NaSeO and AgNO along with microwave energy treatment. LCNF/AgSe films fabricated with two LCNF : AgSe weight percent ratios (, 50 : 50 and 30 : 70) were used to construct a flexible thermoelectric module.
