Diversity of phytoplanktons in a waste stabilization pond at Shimoga Town, Karnataka State, India.

To understand the diversity of phytoplanktons in waste stabilization pond effluents the hitherto study is undertaken. Species diversity indices of Shannon-Wiener and Simpson were applied to phytoplanktons. The diversity indices are of mathematical function to explain the abundance of each species.
