Purpose: To summarize the current state of knowledge on bladder cancer diagnosis and screening in neurogenic bladder patients, and to explore the potential contribution of biomarkers in this context.
Methods: A scoping review was performed to retrieve cystoscopy and urinary cytology performance for bladder cancer detection in neurogenic bladder patients. We also retrieved information of certified urinary biomarkers in bladder cancer detection and their potential application for this specific population.
Background: Transperineal repair of rectourethral fistula (RUF) following prostate cancer treatment with gracilis muscle flap interposition (GMFI) leads to favourable outcomes, but published data are still lacking, notably concerning functional aspects.
Objective: To assess surgical and functional outcomes of this treatment of RUF.
Design, Setting, And Participants: A retrospective study was conducted in two referral hospitals including 21 patients who underwent RUF transperineal repair with GMFI between 2008 and 2020.
Objectif: Evaluate kidney autotransplantation (KAT) and ileal ureter substitution (IUS) practice and outcome as alternatives to indwelling ureteral stents for the management of long ureteral stenosis (US).
Material: We included all patients treated for US with KAT or IUS in 5 French university urology centers between 2010 and 2018. We excluded US due to urothelial carcinoma.
Introduction: Surgery is a treatment for correction of penile curvature in Peyronie's disease. Partial plaque excision and grafting is recommended for severe and complex curvature.
Methods: Patients with stable penile curvature who underwent a partial plaque excision and grafting between January 2017 and April 2018 were retrospectively included.
