Introduction Gingival enlargement (GE) poses a significant problem during fixed orthodontic treatment (FOT). Thus, the primary aim of the current study was to evaluate the concentrations of biomarkers present in the gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) of individuals receiving FOT. The ancillary aim was to examine and compare biomarker levels among patients exhibiting GE undergoing FOT, those without GE undergoing FOT, and a control group comprising individuals not undergoing FOT and to assess the predictors for GE in patients undergoing orthodontic treatment.

The persistent occurrence of drought conditions significantly impacts the growth and development of pearl millet. This study aimed to explore how calcium chloride (CaCl2) regulates the growth of pearl millet when it faces a lack of water.

Vigilin is, therefore, a multifunctional protein reported to be associated with RNA transport and metabolism, sterol metabolism, chromosome segregation, carcinogenesis, and heterochromatin-mediated gene silencing. The receptor for activated C kinase 1 (RACK1) is another highly conserved protein involved in many cellular pathways.

GGT has become the standard of care for many cancers such as breast, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, and metastatic prostate cancer, and it is imperative that patients be offered timely and equitable access to testing as it can inform patient-physician shared decision making for management of the current cancer as well as anticipatory guidance for disease progression. Additionally, GGT guides screening for and prevention of secondary malignancies for the patient and cascade testing for at-risk family members.

Different genetic polymorphisms are responsible for the predisposition of SCZ, and we screened (rs2071287, rs204993) and (rs2070673) polymorphisms in this study to find the connection with SCZ development.
Methods: We investigated a total of 420 samples (210 patients and 210 controls) and used the PCR-RFLP technique to genotype all SNPs.
