Solar radiation is the Earth's most plentiful renewable energy source. Metasurface-based nanostructures can store solar energy efficiently and exhibit consistent behavior when interacting with light waves. This study investigates an ultra-thin, ultra-wideband solar absorber and thermal emitter that operates in the 400-5000 nm spectrum.

Molecular simulations revealed the selective chiral behaviour of CP-1 towards phenylalanine and histidine, as indicated by their higher binding free energies compared to other amino acids. Theoretical parameters were also compared with experimental UV-visible verdicts.

Ectopic Cushing's syndrome manifests as a paraneoplastic syndrome characterized by the secretion of ACTH from malignant cells. This secretion can in turn overstimulate the adrenal cortex, resulting in adrenal cortical hyperplasia followed by hypercortisolism.

Abstaining from tobacco use is associated with a significant reduction in the risk of recurrent myocardial infarctions.
Methodology: In this cross-sectional study, 384 participants post-acute myocardial infarction (MI) were recruited through random sampling to explore the associations between smoking status and intention to quit smoking.
