Ramp events are characterized by large power changes in a short period and increase with increasing renewable generation. Even with hourly forecasts, their predictions are still unreliable. Thus, grid operators should classify these power ramps to understand their expected occurrence periods and range to balance them.

The aim of this work is to survey the potential of cubogel as an ocular dosage form to boost the corneal permeability of Dorzolamide Hydrochloride DZ; an antiglaucomal drug. DZ-loaded cubosomal dispersions were prepared according to Box-Behnken design, where the effect of independent variables; Monoolein MO concentration (2.5, 5 and 7.

The objective of this study was to examine the biological treatment of a formaldehyde waste simulating wastewater from a resin production facility. An analysis of degradation of a high strength organic waste stream containing formaldehyde in an anaerobic fluidized bed granular activated carbon bioreactor (AFBGAC) is presented. In the first part of this study, the AFBGAC bioreactor was operated for a total of 700 days under four different continuous loading rates, to optimize the hydraulic retention time, until steady state performance was obtained.

In this study, an anaerobic fluidized bed reactor (AFBR) was used to treat a synthetically produced pink water waste stream containing trinitrotoluene (TNT). The synthesized waste consisted of 95 mg/l-TNT, the main contaminant in pink water, which was to be co-metabolized with 560-mg/l ethanol. Granular activated carbon was used as the attachment medium for biological growth.
