Improving treatment outcomes obstetric peritonitis after cesarean section on the basis of organ-preserving treatment and reasonable intensive care in the postpartum period. Fifteen clinical cases in which on the background of peritonitis were made conserving surgery, which included: excision of necrotic areas on the uterus, uterine cavity curettage, metroplasty. The results of treatment of acute surgical diseases are worse in pregnant women, than in ordinary people, because of changes in patient's organism. However, these patients would be treated the same way as ordinary patient according to conventional standards. The authors launched the special centre for treatment of acute surgical diseases of abdominal cavity for pregnant women and puerperas in order to provide the adequacy of treatment to the changes of patient's organism.

On the experience of treatment of 45 patients the efficacy of the programmed control sanation laparoscopy of the abdominal cavity was proved in postoperative period. This method had an advantage in comparison with open approach. Postoperative complications decreased from 50% to 28.
