Despite numerous reports on the procoagulant activities of G-CSF, the effect of plerixafor on the hemostatic system is not clearly understood. This study aims to evaluate the effects of plerixafor on the hemostatic system when used for autologous stem cell mobilization (ASCM) for poor mobilizers (PM) with lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Patients who were performed ASCM with plerixafor in combination with GCSF were prospectively enrolled.

Recent advancements in molecular research have identified novel targets, such as BUB1B, which has been identified through global transcriptomic profiling and gene co-expression network analysis as critical in ccRCC progression. In this study, we synthesized 40 novel derivatives of TG-101209 to modulate BUB1B expression and activity, leading to the induction of apoptosis in Caki-1 cells.

This study aimed to assess how sinus lifting impacts airflow in the sinus cavity, which is essential for patients undergoing dental implants. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), this research analyzed airflow changes after sinus floor elevation, offering insights into the aerodynamic consequences of the procedure.

Design: Cross-sectional study analyzing costs for recommended infertility diagnostic tests, including hormone tests (follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, estradiol, and progesterone), semen analysis, transvaginal ultrasound, and hysterosalpingogram. Data were sourced from consumer cost claims repositories for five most populous cities per state, categorized into four regions (Midwest, South, West, and Northeast) as per US Census Bureau classifications.
Objectives: A new abutment-free implant connection allows for direct screwing of FDPs on implants to avoid complications caused by cement rests or screw loosening, which may affect to screw torque and load distribution. The objective of this study was to test the initial (Fi) and final failure (Ff) loads and torque changes of abutment-free monolithic zirconia CAD-CAM fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) compared to titanium FDPs on different abutment designs.
Methods: Three-unit screw-retained FDPs (n = 50) on two implants (n = 100) were divided into groups (n = 10) based on the implant-abutment connection and material of the supra-structure: (1) abutment-free monolithic CAD-CAM zirconia FDP (Abut-free-Zr), (2) abutment-free veneered titanium FDPs (Abut-free-Ti), (3) monolithic zirconia FDPs with titanium base abutments (Zr-Ti-Base), (4) monolithic zirconia FDPs on multi-unit abutments (Zr-MU), (5) veneered titanium FDP on multi-unit abutments (Ti-MU).
