Urinary bladder cancer is a global disease that poses medical and socioeconomic challenges to patients and healthcare systems. Predicting detrusor invasiveness and pathological grade of bladder cancer by the radiologist is imperative for informed decision-making and effective patient-tailored therapy. Cystoscopy and TURBT are the current gold standard for preoperative histologic diagnosis and local pathological staging but are compromised by their intrusiveness, under-sampling, and staging inaccuracies.

Decades after being replaced with digital platforms, analogue computing has experienced a surging interest following developments in metamaterials and intricate fabrication techniques. Specifically, wave-based analogue computers which impart spatial transformations on an incident wavefront, commensurate with a desired mathematical operation, have gained traction owing to their ability to directly encode the input in its unprocessed form, bypassing analogue-to-digital conversion. While promising, these systems are inherently limited to single-task configurations.

Background: Methods to assess aortic stiffness are not validated during ongoing atrial fibrillation (AF) We aimed to determine whether aortic stiffness can be assessed reliably in patients during AF.
Methods And Results: Carotid-to-femoral and aortic pulse wave velocity (cf/aoPWV), central blood pressure (BP), and augmentation index (AIx) were assessed by a two-site applanation method and a one-site cuff-based oscillometric method in 40 patients with persistent AF and repeated after cardioversion to SR. Mean age was 63 ± 8 years, 73% male, 50% hypertensive.
Elastic periodic lattices act as mechanical filters of incident vibrations. By and large, they forbid wave propagation within bandgaps and resonate outside them. However, they often encounter "truncation resonances" (TRs) inside bandgaps when certain conditions are met.

Using a non-uniform polytropic index, we get the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation for the relativistic composite polytrope (CTOV). To analyze the star's structure, we numerically solve the CTOV equation and compute the Emden and mass functions for various relativistic parameters and polytropic indices appropriate for neutron stars.
