Background: This systematic review aims to consolidate and analyze reported cases of fat embolism following fat grafting, focusing on patient demographics, procedural characteristics, clinical features, diagnostic methods, management strategies, and outcomes.
Methods: A systematic review following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses guidelines was conducted across multiple databases, including PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane, Embase, MEDLINE, and Scopus, up to January 31, 2024. Inclusion criteria encompassed case presentations diagnosing fat embolism or fat embolism syndrome post-fat grafting in patients over the age of 18 years.
Response gain is a crucial means by which modulatory systems control the impact of sensory input. In the visual cortex, the serotonergic 5-HT receptor is key in such modulation. However, due to its expression across different cell types and lack of methods that allow for specific activation, the underlying network mechanisms remain unsolved.

This task, possible using quantitative CT, is particularly challenging as scanner and patient attributes change over time, negatively impacting the CT-derived quantitative measures. Efforts to minimize such variations have been limited by the absence of ground truth in clinical data, thus necessitating reliance on clinical surrogates, which may not have one-to-one correspondence to CT-based findings.

Among their various applications, magnetic nanoparticles have been predominantly employed in catalytic processes due to their easy accessibility, recoverability, effective surface properties, thermal stability, and low cost. In this particular study, cyanuric chloride and arginine were utilized to synthesize an arginine-based oligomeric compound (ACT), which was supported on cobalt ferrite, resulting in a green catalyst with high activity and convenient recyclability for the cyanation reaction of aryl halides.
