To facilitate the use of the mounting evidence on how human health is inextricably linked to the health of the planet and the urgent need for measures against the escalating triple planetary crisis, the WHO has developed a repository of systematic reviews on interventions in the area of environment, climate change and health (ECH). This commentary introduces the repository, describes its rationale and development, and points to potential future evolutions. The repository aims to provide a user-friendly tool for quickly finding systematic reviews and meta-analyses on specific ECH topics.

A multicentric outbreak of Candida auris in Mexico: 2020 to 2023.

Background: Candida auris, an emerging multidrug-resistant yeast, has become a global concern due to its association with nosocomial outbreaks and resistance to antifungal medications. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the situation, with several outbreaks reported worldwide, including in Mexico. We describe the clinical and microbiological characteristics of a multicentric outbreak in private institutions in Mexico.

Urban segregation on multilayered transport networks: a random walk approach.

We present a novel method for analysing socio-spatial segregation in cities by considering constraints imposed by transportation networks. Using a multilayered network approach, we model the interaction probabilities of socio-economic groups with random walks and Lévy flights. This method allows for evaluation of new transport infrastructure's impact on segregation while quantifying each network's contribution to interaction opportunities.
