A male neonate exhibited hallmark features of Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (BWS) including large for gestational age, macroglossia, multiple ear pits, and umbilical hernia. He had neonatal hypoglycemia, requiring a glucose infusion rate of 9.7 mg/kg/min.

Methods: Adherence to the bundle was assessed using a novel bedside assessment tool, with immediate feedback to bedside staff post-assessment. Data on IVH rates and associated risk factors were stratified by IVH severity, and compared between pre- and post-bundle implementation.
Unlabelled: A key step toward rational microbiome engineering is sampling of realistic microbial communities that correspond to desired host phenotypes, and vice versa. This remains challenging due to a lack of generative models that simultaneously capture compositions of host-associated microbiomes and host phenotypes. To that end, we present a generative model based on the mechanistic consumer/resource (C/R) framework.

While both modalities show advantages over conservative management, the long-term mortality benefits post AVR, especially when comparing TAVR with SAVR, remain uncertain. A comprehensive meta-analysis was conducted through a systematic search of electronic databases up to December 7, 2023.

There are indications that both receptors interact functionally and physically, but the precise role of this interdependence is poorly understood. Here, we analyzed the impact of GR coexpression on MR genome-wide transcriptional responses and chromatin binding upon activation by aldosterone and glucocorticoids, both physiological ligands of this receptor.
