Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic, progressive neurodegenerative disease with unknown etiology. Some previous studies suggest that elevated serum homocysteine level is a risk factor for stroke, ischemic heart disease; atherosclerosis and neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's disease. Serum homocysteine level relates with Parkinson's disease through various mechanisms including gene defect, apoptosis, oxidative stress and DNA damage.

Background: Mucormycosis, a severe fungal infection, is an emerging public health concern during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to investigate the perception of mucormycosis among Bangladeshi healthcare workers.
Results: An exploratory cross-sectional study was carried out among the Bangladeshi healthcare workers from May 25, 2021, to June 5, 2021.
The CoVid-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has taken more lives than any other pandemic so far, with non-pharmacological interventions such as lockdown, school closures, and travel bans, especially social distance, abounding around the world. With limited resources, these interventions pose the ultimate challenge to the education system in developing countries like Bangladesh, especially in providing uninterrupted education for all children in rural areas, where a significant number of students are enrolled in this area. However, the initiative to close schools for an extended period has affected children physically, emotionally, socially, and in various ways.
