Background: Best practice evidence for identifying and managing professional behaviour lapses in a multidisciplinary context is lacking. This study aimed to evaluate multidisciplinary educators' attitudes and perceptions of the ProFESS (Professional standards, Ethical Behaviour and Student Support) framework and its companion Fitness for Practice model, designed and implemented at a large Australian university to address this using a behaviour change approach.

Methods: A 72-item survey based on the Context, Input, Process, Product evaluation framework was completed by 92 multidisciplinary faculty educators and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics.

Structural vulnerability of the thalamus remains underinvestigated in mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), and few studies have addressed its constituent nuclei using robust segmentation methods. This study aimed to investigate thalamic subnuclei volume in the subacute period following mTBI. Trauma control (TC) and mTBI patients aged 18-60 years old completed a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) protocol including both high resolution structural (T1w) and diffusion-weighted sequences at 6-12 weeks following injury (mean: 57 days; SD 11).

Although global warming is leading to more frequent mass coral bleaching events worldwide, parts of the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) have consistently escaped severe coral bleaching. Modeling and satellite observations show that climate refugia are created by the upwelling of cooler water to the surface through the interactions of tides and currents with dense reef structures. Here, we use a high-resolution nested regional ocean model to investigate the future status of two relatively large refugia.

The International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use has published an addendum on estimands and sensitivity analysis in clinical trials along with related training materials. These define an estimand as a precise description of the treatment effect that reflects the scientific question of interest. In December 2022, the US Food and Drug Administration released draft guidance recommending estimands of interest be specified in bioequivalence trial protocols.

Metastasis is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths, yet its regulatory mechanisms are not fully understood. Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) is the most metastatic form of lung cancer, with most patients presenting with widespread disease, making it an ideal model for studying metastasis. However, the lack of suitable preclinical models has limited such studies.
