For the driven-dissipative system of two coupled bosonic modes in a nonlinear cavity resonator, we demonstrate a sequence of phase transitions from a trivial steady state to two distinct dissipative time crystalline phases. These effects are already anticipated at the level of the semiclassical analysis of the Lindblad equation using the theory of bifurcations and are further supported by the full quantum treatment. The system is predicted to exhibit different dynamical phases characterized by an oscillating nonequilibrium steady state with nontrivial periodicity, which is a hallmark of time crystals.

In quasi-1D conducting nanowires spin-orbit coupling destructs spin-charge separation, intrinsic to Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid (TLL). We study renormalization of a single scattering impurity in a such liquid. Performing bosonization of low-energy excitations and exploiting perturbative renormalization analysis we extend the phase portrait in-space, obtained previously for TLL with decoupled spin-charge channels.

In this letter, we propose an application of string order parameter (SOP), commonly used in quantum spin systems, to identify symmetry-protected topological phase (SPT) in fermionic systems in the example of the dimerized fermionic chain. As a generalized form of dimerized model, we consider a one-dimensional spin-1/2 XX model with alternating spin couplings. We employ Jordan-Wigner fermionization to map this model to the spinless Su-Schrieffer-Heeger fermionic model (SSH) with generalized hopping signs.
