Background: Sleep quality is crucial for patient recovery and well-being, yet hospitalized patients often suffer from poor sleep due to environmental disruptions, clinical routines, and psychosocial stressors. While these challenges are well-documented, qualitative insights into nurses' perspectives-essential frontline providers shaping the sleep environment-are scarce, especially within rapidly evolving healthcare systems like Saudi Arabia's. This study explores nurses' perceptions of factors influencing patient sleep quality in a private hospital in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, and identifies strategies for improvement.

Using the SYNTAX score (SS) for decision-making between percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) for left main coronary artery (LMCA) revascularization is under scrutiny. This study investigated the clinical outcomes of LMCA revascularization stratified by SS. This multicenter study included 2138 patients recruited between 2015 and 2020 who underwent LMCA disease revascularization using PCI or CABG and were categorized based on their SS into three groups: low (≤22), intermediate (23-32), and high (≥33).

A simple and inexpensive process from natural phosphate in the presence of Ag ions was used to develop AgO-loaded hydroxyapatite nanocomposites. The structural and textural characterization of the nanocomposites suggests that the AgO nanoparticles are well dispersed on the hydroxyapatite (HAp). The prepared nanocomposites show efficient Rhodamine B (RhB) dye photocatalytic degradation in water under visible and UV-visible light irradiation.

In this study, we aimed to investigate the current genetic diversity and provide additional insights into the origins of the Algerian population by analyzing the frequencies of HLA -A,-B,-DRB1,-DQB1 alleles and associated haplotypes. We analyzed 1,082 unrelated healthy Algerian individuals, who were potential kidney donors, recruited and assessed in the Immunology Department of CHU Mustapha in Algiers over a 10-year period (2009-2019). HLA genotyping was performed by Polymerase Chain Reaction Sequence Specific Primers (PCR-SSP).
