Background: To evaluate the acceptability of a risk-based breast cancer screening (BCS) strategy among professionals involved in MyPeBS study in 6 countries.
Methods: After qualitative interviews, a questionnaire was built with a Delphi method: to evaluate professionals' basic understanding, satisfaction and reactions to each stage of the trial, opinions on BCS and its future. The questionnaire was distributed by emailing 698 investigators, who forwarded it to all categories of professionals involved in trial recruitment (physicians, medical secretaries, nurses, and mammography technicians).
Phosphatidylethanol (PEth) consists of phospholipids synthesized in erythrocyte cell membranes in the presence of ethanol and serves as a sensitive and specific indicator of alcohol consumption. Further research on PEth formation, degradation, and stability in postmortem (PM) samples would support its routine application in forensic toxicology. A supercritical fluid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (SFC-MS/MS) method was developed and validated to quantify PEth 16:0/18:1 in blood.

It is important to understand patient preferences around AI in patient-clinician communication as ethical guidelines on appropriate use and disclosure (patient notification of AI use) are developed.
Objective: To analyze patient preferences regarding use of AI in electronic messages.
Probing the stereodynamics of a gas-surface interaction is a useful tool to investigate the mechanisms responsible for adsorption. Experimental results are provided on the adsorption of alignment-controlled O interacting with a Cu(111) surface for the first time, across a range of incident energies (65-550 meV) and angles of incidence (0-60°). Molecules of O in a supersonic beam are prepared in a single spin-rotational state, and aligned with a Cu(111) surface so that the rotational angular momentum of O is either parallel or perpendicular to the surface.

Pregabalin is a useful therapeutic option for patients with anxiety or neuropathic pain. Genetic variants in certain genes encoding for transporters related to absorption and distribution could have an impact on the efficacy and safety of the drug. Furthermore, extreme phenotypes in metabolic enzymes could alter pregabalin-limited metabolism.
