Background: To address the research-practice gap, knowledge translation is a crucial step in which co-creation, including patient and public involvement (PPI), is key. We performed a knowledge translation project in co-creation with all stakeholders as equal partners in the design and decision-making process. Background: The work participation of young adults with chronic physical conditions lag behind compared to healthy age-mates. 'At Work' is a vocational rehabilitation intervention provided by occupational therapists, that supports them for entering the competitive labour market after graduating post-secondary education.
Aim: To evaluate the effects of 'At Work' on self-efficacy, work-ability and employment status as compared to usual care.
Aim: To identify meaningful outcomes of children and their caregivers attending a paediatric brain centre.
Method: We compiled a long list of outcomes of health and functioning of children with brain-related disorders such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, (genetic) neurodevelopmental disorders, and acquired brain injury. We incorporated three perspectives: patients, health care professionals, and published outcome sets.
Background: For patients with post-stroke upper limb impairments, the currently available clinical measurement instruments are inadequate for reliable quantification of multiple impairments, such as muscle weakness, abnormal synergy, changes in elastic joint properties and spasticity. Robotic devices to date have successfully achieved precise and accurate quantification but are often limited to the measurement of one or two impairments. Our primary aim is to develop a robotic device that can effectively quantify four main motor impairments of the elbow.
