Chromic Electrospun Polymer Nanofibers: Preparation, Applications, and the Future.

Physical understanding and determination of different analytes without the need for advanced and additional equipment are highly important, which can be achieved by using stimuli-induced chromic materials. Physical and chemical incorporation of responsive chromophores into different polymers results in the fabrication of chromic polymers. Chromic electrospun nanofibers are prepared using the electrospinning technique, and their stimuli-responsivity is improved due to their high surface-to-volume ratio.

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women worldwide. A common approach to cancer treatment in clinical practice is to use a combination of drugs to enhance the anticancer activity of drugs while reducing their side effects. In this regard, we evaluated the effectiveness of combined treatment with gemcitabine (GCB) and arsenic (ATO) and how they affect the cell death pathway in cancer cells.

Factors related to patients' readiness for advance care planning: a systematic review.

Background: Advance care planning can help to align the care provided with the values, goals and preferences of patients at the end of life. Therefore, readiness for advanced care planning is considered a prerequisite and predictor of the patient's willingness to participate in the end of life conversation. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors affecting patients' readiness for advance care planning (RACP).

Assessment of Coffee Consumption on Post-Cesarean Section Bowel Movements.

Objectives: Gastrointestinal complications and bowel movement disorders are common complications of abdominal surgery. Considering the effects of coffee and the high prevalence of cesarean section operations, this study aimed to assess how coffee consumption affected the motility of the intestines.

Methods: This was a triple-blind clinical trial study performed on 200 cases of randomly chosen women who had undergone cesarean section in both Akbarabadi and Firouzgar hospitals, and they were randomly divided into two groups.
