Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disorder that can affect various organs. Juvenile-onset SLE (jSLE) may be more severe than the adult-onset form, but the diagnosis and classification remain challenging due to the complex nature of the condition and its resemblance to other conditions. Antinuclear antibodies (ANA) are the immunological hallmark of SLE, but their limited specificity poses challenges.

Methods: A retrospective study of patients diagnosed with STS of the extremities from 2015 to 2019.
Cell-based therapy is a new direction of treatment of diseases such as type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM); but unfortunately, its severe side effects include immunogenicity and tumor development. Using Mesenchymal stem cells conditioned medium (MSCs-CM) may be an alternative therapy to avoid stem cell risks, preserving effectiveness and demonstrating noticeably increased levels of cytokines, angiogenic factors, and growth factors that encourage and support regenerative processes. In the current work, we examined the effects of MSCs-CM injected in tail vein and pancreas directly compared with the standard antidiabetic drug, glimepiride in streptozotocin-induced type 1 diabetic rats.

Aim: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the measures of associations between CD and psychiatric disorders, specifically anxiety and depression, and explore the relationship between adherence to a Gluten-Free Diet (GFD) and the psychiatric aspects of the disease.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science for articles investigating anxiety and depression in CD patients.
Background: Increasingly, patient satisfaction scores are being used to assess emergency physicians. We sought to determine whether the patient satisfaction scores collected by our hospital system are lower for patients who are treated in the emergency department (ED) on night shifts as compared to those treated on day shifts.
Methods: We performed a cross-sectional analysis of patient satisfaction scores from three EDs in Florida.
