Aims Of The Study: Health equity is a key component of quality of care and an objective for a growing number of quality improvement projects for deontological, ethical, public health and economic reasons. To monitor equity in the delivery of health services in Switzerland, there is a need to implement valid, measurable and actionable equity indicators, along with vulnerability stratifiers such as migrant status, which could lead to differences in quality of care. The aim of this study was to develop a set of healthcare equity indicators and stratifiers targeting inpatient and outpatient populations and to test their feasibility.

The co-occurrence of physical, psychological, and sexual intimate partner violence (IPV) is associated with heightened risk for deleterious mental and physical health outcomes, including PTSD symptoms and substance use. However, few studies have investigated the heterogeneity of experiences with respect to this co-occurrence among women who experience IPV as it unfolds naturally in women's daily lives. In this study, we developed a novel approach to classify and visualize daily patterns of IPV experiences, PTSD-related distress, and substance use among women who experience IPV.

  • Refugees and asylum seekers often face post-migration living difficulties (PMLD) that are linked to psychological issues like post-traumatic stress (PTS).
  • Attachment insecurity, specifically anxiety and avoidance, might explain the connection between PMLD and PTS, but how it works isn't fully understood.
  • A study with 134 refugees in Switzerland found that PMLD can lead to PTS through attachment anxiety, and this relationship is further influenced by emotion dysregulation, suggesting a need for better assessment and treatment of these aspects in refugee care.

We consider the redistribution of lipids comprising the plasma membranes during cell-cell fusion, particularly due to the presence of a fusion pore. Assuming the membranes are of constant thickness, we find that the mole fraction of cholesterol increases in the directly apposed exoplasmic leaflets, and is decreased in the cytoplasmic leaflets. The redistribution of the phospholipids is obtained as well.
