There are concerns raised by patients, attenders, stake holders, insurers, government agencies, and regulatory bodies. The study aims to evaluate the awareness and the rate of compliance with hand hygiene.

Factors to Overcoming Barriers Affecting Electronic Medical Record Usage by Physicians.

Background: Hospitals are adopting electronic medical records (EMRs) in larger numbers; however, the barrier to derive its full utility is the low acceptance by physicians.

Aims And Objectives: This study is done with an objective to identify the factors to overcome the barriers preventing the adoption of EMR by physicians.

Materials And Methods: This study is cross sectional in natures and a self-administered questionnaire is developed based on the Technology Acceptance Model.

Pathogenesis of oral lichen planus--a review.

Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a T-cell-mediated chronic inflammatory oral mucosal disease of unknown etiology. OLP presents as white striations, white papules, white plaques, erythema, erosions, or blisters affecting predominantly the buccal mucosa, tongue and gingiva. Both antigen-specific and non-specific mechanisms are hypothesized to be involved in the pathogenesis of oral lichen planus (OLP).
