Objective: Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) rarely involve the cranium. We report a case arising in the ethmoid sinus with orbital and intracranial invasion. Imaging suggested an associated fibro-osseous lesion.

A randomised controlled trial of coblation, diode laser and cold dissection in paediatric tonsillectomy.

Objective: This study aimed to compare the efficacy of diode laser, coblation and cold dissection tonsillectomy in paediatric patients.

Methods: A total of 120 patients aged 10-15 years with recurrent tonsillitis were recruited. Participants were prospectively randomised to diode laser, coblation or cold dissection tonsillectomy.

A postal survey of hereditary hemorrhagic telangectasia in the northeast of England.

The aim of this study is to identify the demographics and epistaxis burden of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). A questionnaire was sent to participants with HHT who were recruited from a prospectively maintained respiratory clinic data base in a tertiary hospital. Details on demographics, HHT symptoms, family history, epistaxis severity, and treatment received were recorded.
