Background: Accuracy of high sensitive troponin (hs-cTn) to detect coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients with renal insufficiency is not established. The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic role of hs-cTn T and I in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Methods: All consecutive patients with chest pain, renal insufficiency (eGFR < 60 mL/min/1.
Pericardial diseases are relatively common in clinical practice either as isolated diseases or part of an underlying or systemic disease. Recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment have greatly improved the clinical management and lead to consensus documents on multimodality imaging and new guidelines on the diagnosis and therapy of pericardial diseases. The aim of the present paper is to summarize available evidence in order to provide an updated and comprehensive review on the recent advances in the management of pericardial diseases.

Four nebulisers, namely I-neb(®), Aeroneb(®) Go, eFlow(®)rapid and PARI LC(®) Sprint were studied in terms of delivered dose (DD), drug delivery rate (DDR) and respirable dose (RD) of CMS. The goal was to provide scientific data to physicians for prescribing the most appropriate nebuliser for the CMS specific user.

These data, however, derive from non-European centers evaluating all-cause readmissions, without stratification for diagnosis.
Methods: All consecutive patients undergoing PCI at our center from January 2009 to December 2011 were enrolled.
Aim: Many randomized trials have compared coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in terms of efficacy, but data comparing outcomes of patients in which these two techniques have failed are lacking.
Methods: We included patients undergoing PCI at our center between July 2002 and December 2004. Subjects were distinguished in 2 groups: those with at least one occluded or stenotic saphenous vein graft (CABG failure), and those with at least one stent with angiographically documented restenosis (PCI failure).
