Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) play a pivotal role in immune responses, particularly against viral infections. pDCs exhibit diverse functions, including interferon production, cytokine secretion, and antigen presentation. Here, we investigate the antigen cross-presentation capacity of pDCs and their role in CD8 T cell activation.

The state of data sharing in rheumatology: a systematic review of top journal practices.

Objective: To evaluate data sharing statement (DSS) inclusion within rheumatology clinical studies published over the past four years in ten top rheumatology journals.

Methods: We conducted a systematic review of rheumatology clinical studies published in ten leading journals between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2023. Articles were included if they provided new primary data through original research and excluded if no new primary data was found.

Objectives: Tuberculosis (TB) affects humans and animals regardless of species type, causing huge economic losses and deaths worldwide. However, the mechanisms and risk factors of zoonotic transmission are not well known in Pakistan. The current study aimed to identify the potential risk factors associated with TB in farmers and their animals, particularly exposure to infected animals in Lahore District, Pakistan.

Food safety is a critical issue in the 21st century due to antibiotic-resistant bacteria causing harmful foodborne diseases. This comprehensive study meticulously examined the presence of bacterial isolates, quinolone residue, and antimicrobial resistance genes in samples of broiler and fish meat. Forty samples were collected from various locations in the Faisalabad metropolis.
