Comparison of the Results of Phalloplasty Using Radial Free Forearm Flap and Anterolateral Thigh in Iran from 2014 to 2019.

 Due to the worldwide growing number of transgender individuals openly identifying themselves, including in Iran, these individuals need more attention and support. This study compares patient satisfaction and quality of life after female-to-male gender confirmation surgery using an anterolateral thigh (ALT) flap and radial forearm free flap (RFFF).  This study included 49 patients who underwent phalloplasty from 2014 to 2019 using two different methods.

Aesthetic and Functional Outcomes of Open Carpal Tunnel Release and Thread Carpal Tunnel Release: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

 Surgical techniques for carpal tunnel release (CTR) have gradually become less invasive. No substantial evidence supports replacing the open carpal tunnel release (OCTR) with novel minimally invasive approaches. Thread carpal tunnel release (TCTR) is a new minimally invasive CTR method associated with promising results.

Successful Microsurgical Replantation of Amputated Penis: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

This study aims to explain microscopic replantation in a rare case of a wholly amputated penis after prolonged ischemia. A 36-year-old patient underwent microscopic replantation of the penis after 9 hours. The penis was completely amputated due to self-mutilation.

Comparison of the Results of Delayed Repair of Flexor Pollicis Longus (FPL) Tendon with Tendon Transfer or with Tendon Graft.

Background: In Flexor Pollicis Longus (FPL) injuries, primary repair with end-to-end suture is the treatment of choice. In cases where primary repair is not possible, tendon transfer or tendon grafting is used, each of which has its strengths and weaknesses. We aimed to investigate the effectiveness of each of the above two methods in patients.

A Machine Learning-Based Model for Breast Volume Prediction Using Preoperative Anthropometric Measurements.

Background: Accurate assessment of breast volume is helpful in preoperative planning and intraoperative judgment in both cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. In this prospective study, a formula was derived using machine learning algorithm (Gradient Boosted Model).
