Predictors of anterior chamber angle status at the time of neovascular glaucoma diagnosis.

Purpose: To identify clinical features which may predict the angle status of a large cohort of NVG eyes at the time of diagnosis.

Observations: Chart review was performed for all NVG eyes from 2010 to 2022. Complete angle closure was defined as having >75 % PAS, partial angle closure as having 1-75 % PAS, and open angles as having 0 % PAS.

Background: Epstein-Barr virus-associated gastric cancer (EBVaGC) is characterized by higher lymphocytic infiltration, which predicts sensitivity to immunotherapy. However, there are few studies investigating the mechanisms of acquired resistance to programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) blockade and its subsequent treatment strategies for EBVaGC.

Case Description: We describe the case of a patient with EBVaGC who was initially treated with first-line chemotherapy plus Sintilimab, a fully humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, resulting in a near-complete response.

Bibliometric study and visual analysis of postoperative diabetes mellitus in kidney transplant recipients based on WoSCC database.

Background: In recent years, the increase of the post-transplantation diabetes mellitus (PTDM) after renal transplantation encourages people to do a lot of research on the disease. This paper conducted a bibliometric study on PTDM related literature to explore the risk factors of diabetes after kidney transplantation, as well as the current status, hotspots and development trends of PTDM research, so as to provide reference for researchers in related fields.

Methods: We searched the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database for PTDM literature from January 1, 1990, to August 20, 2023, and used VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and the R package 'bibliometrix' to do bibliometric analysis.

Purpose: Kuiyangling is a traditional Chinese medicine formula used for the treatment of ulcerative colitis, but the specific mechanism remains unclear. Imbalance in NETs regulation is one of the important factors contributing to the onset of ulcerative colitis (UC). The HuR/VDR signaling pathway plays a significant role in restoring the intestinal mucosal barrier in UC.
