Objective: To identify lessons learned from the experience of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Patient Safety and Medical Liability (PSML) Demonstration Program.
Data Sources/study Setting: On September 9, 2009, President Obama directed the Secretary of Health and Human Services to authorize demonstration projects that put "patient safety first" with the intent of reducing preventable adverse outcomes and stemming liability costs. Seven demonstration projects received 3 years of funding from AHRQ in the summer of 2010, and the program formally came to a close in June 2015.

Obesity, the most common chronic disease of childhood, is prevalent among economically disadvantaged children. The Chronic Care and Obesity Care Models are comprehensive health care strategies to improve outcomes by linking primary care best practices and community-based programs. Pediatric providers and community health centers are well positioned to design and implement coordinated and synergistic programs to address childhood health disparities.

Methods: Bone samples deriving from the premolar region of 47 human mandibles were selected for analysis.
With a significant proportion of HIV-infected patients now presenting with co-occurring substance abuse disorders and mental disorders, interest in integrated HIV care is growing. However, no review of integrated HIV care has been conducted. Using relevant key word searches of the Medline and Psychlit databases, the authors identified about 450 publications.
