TeleHelp Ukraine: A distributed international telemedicine response to the ongoing war.

Background: Humanitarian crises frequently garner solidarity and robust volunteer recruitment among health care communities. However, a common obstacle is matching providers to those in need across geographic and other barriers. We examined the application of a decentralised governance strategy in establishing an emergency telemedicine response, TeleHelp Ukraine (THU).

Two-stage random sequential adsorption of discorectangles and disks on a two-dimensional surface.

The different variants of two-stage random sequential adsorption (RSA) models for packing of disks and discorectangles on a two-dimensional (2D) surface were investigated. In the SD (sticks+disks) model, the discorectangles were first deposited and then the disks were added. In the DS (disks+sticks) model, the disks were first deposited and then discorectangles were added.

A two-dimensional Monte Carlo simulation of dead-end diafiltration of bidispersed particle suspensions was performed. The diafiltration process involves separation of components based on their size by using a permeable membrane. The continuous model was applied to study separation of mixture of disks with diameter d and D (D>d).

Ovarian Rejuvenation Through Platelet-Rich Autologous Plasma (PRP)-a Chance to Have a Baby Without Donor Eggs, Improving the Life Quality of Women Suffering from Early Menopause Without Synthetic Hormonal Treatment.

Due to the fact that modern American and European women postpone childbirth until later in life, they are more likely to face the problem of ovarian insufficiency by the time they are ready to have children. So, the ability to restore the ovarian function safely is crucially important. Our study involved 38 women 31-45 years of age with low ovarian reserves and at least two unsuccessful attempts to receive their oocytes through IVF.

Chiral, triformylphenol-derived salen-type [4 + 6] organic cages.

A one-pot synthesis of chiral [4 + 6] tetrahedral cage compounds containing a salen fragment on each face is presented. The formation of the [4 + 6] products remains in contrast to the reaction of 1,3,5-triformylphloroglucinol with chiral diamines where [2 + 3] keto-enamine pseudocyclophanes are formed exclusively. The presence of OH groups determines the structural and spectroscopic properties of these cage compounds while a change in the reaction conditions facilitates the isolation of the microcrystalline products of the specific surface area varying from 5 to 578 m(2) g(-1).
