Objective: This pilot study aims to assess how individuals with rhythm perception, particularly musicians, are able to maintain the predefined chest compression rate during cardiopulmonary resuscitation compared to people without rhythm perception.

Methods: The study was conducted at the Pilsen Emergency Medicine Conference (Czechia) using a simulation-based cohort design. Participants performed chest compressions on a manikin for 120 s, with the first 10 s guided by a metronome.

The paper is devoted to the analysis of a supersonic nozzle system effect in gas-cooled lances on the technological parameters of slag splashing in an oxygen converter. Simulation calculations were carried out, taking into account the parameters of nozzles used in the technological lines of converter steel plants in Ukraine and Brazil. This article is focused on the experimental study of flexural properties in different multi-layer carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites and correlations with the results of finite element method (FEM) simulations of mechanical properties. The comparison of the results shows the possibility of reducing the number of experimental specimens for testing. The experimental study of flexural properties for four types of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composites with twill weaves (2 × 2) was carried out.

This article focuses on the computational analysis of sandwich composite materials based on polypropylene, polyester, glass, and cotton fibers.
