Purpose Of Review: Provider shortages and other barriers to traditional mental health care have led to the development of technology-based services designed to enhance access and improve the efficiency and convenience of treatment. We reviewed research on computer-assisted cognitive behavior therapy (CCBT) and mobile mental health applications to assess the effectiveness of these methods of delivering or augmenting treatment, evaluating patient and provider uptake, and making recommendations on the clinical use of these tools in the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Results: Research on CCBT has found solid evidence for efficacy when the use of a therapeutic computer program is supported by a clinician or other helping professional.

Purpose: We aimed to determine the incidence of mental health diagnoses and associated health and social risk factors among perinatal people in three different COVID-19 phases.

Methods: We conducted a population-based, retrospective cohort study using linked administrative datasets. We included persons with live, in-hospital births in Ontario, Canada from January 1 to March 31 in 2019, 2021, or 2022 (three phases relative to COVID-19 with different public health policy measures).

Fluorogenic probes that unmask fluorescence signals in response to bioorthogonal reactions are a powerful new addition to biological imaging. They can significantly reduce background fluorescence and minimize nonspecific signals, potentially enabling real-time, high-contrast imaging without the need to wash out excess fluorophores. While diverse classes of highly refined synthetic fluorophores are now readily available, integrating them into a bioorthogonal fluorogenic scheme still requires extensive design efforts and customized structural alterations to optimize quenching mechanisms for each specific fluorophore scaffold.

Purpose: This study is to assess efficacy of fibrin sealant in vein anastomosis in renal transplantation in preventing blood loss and postoperative peri-graft collection.

Methods: This is a retrospective analytical case-control study of renal transplantations done in a tertiary care center in India in a 1-year period. Fibrin sealant was randomly used in vein anastomosis during the period.
