Three receptor ligands, 5-(1-benzo[]imidazol-2-yl)quinolin-8-ol (1), 5-(benzo[]thiazol-2-yl)quinolin-8-ol (2), and 4-(1-benzo[]imidazol-2-yl)benzene-1,3-diol (3), were synthesized, and their fluoride (F) ion binding properties were investigated. These ligands could selectively bind F ions, and their respective F complexes, namely, 1-TBAF, 2-TBAF, and 3-TBAF (TBAF = tetrabutylammonium fluoride), were characterized using single crystal X-ray analysis, NMR, UV-vis, Hirshfeld surface (HS) analysis and computational studies.

The objective of this research was to assess the prevalence of common mental disorders in an urban resettlement colony in Delhi, India, explore associated factors, and understand the community's perspective on mental health.
Materials And Methods: A community-based mixed-method study was conducted in which 130 participants were selected through multistage systematic random sampling and 12 key community members by purposive sampling.
The GdPO:Tm/Yb phosphor codoped with various concentrations of Li ions were synthesized for upconversion emission and optical thermometry studies. Excitation using 980 nm laser diode results in three upconversion (UC) emission bands with centre wavelengths of 478, 648 and 692 nm. These bands are originated from G→H, G→F, and F→H transitions of the Tm ion, respectively.

This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of an FDC of dapagliflozin + sitagliptin + metformin hydrochloride extended release (XR), compared to a dual FDC of sitagliptin + metformin hydrochloride XR among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with poor glycemic control when treated with metformin monotherapy.
Methods: A total of 274 patients with T2DM were randomized (1:1) to either arm X, receiving FDC of dapagliflozin (10 mg) + sitagliptin (100 mg) + metformin hydrochloride XR (1000 mg) (Dapa + Sita + Met) tablets, or arm Y, receiving sitagliptin phosphate (100 mg) + metformin hydrochloride XR (1000 mg) (Sita + Met) tablets, and treated for 16 weeks.
