Background: The marine environment boasts distinctive physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. While numerous studies have delved into the microbial ecology and biological potential of the marine environment, exploration of genetically encoded, deep-sea sourced secondary metabolites remains scarce. This study proposes the development of a nonparametric regression model combined with geographically weighted regression. The regression model considers geographical factors and has a data pattern that does not follow a parametric form to overcome the problem of spatial heterogeneity and unknown regression functions. This study aims to model provincial food security index data in Indonesia with the GWSNR model, so finding the optimal knot point and the best geographic weighting is necessary.

Superficial siderosis (SS) of the central nervous system is a rare disorder that is caused by chronic or recurrent hemorrhage in the subarachnoid space via a dural defect at the spinal level. The most common clinical features of SS include slow-progressive sensorineural deafness, cerebellar symptoms, and pyramidal tract signs.
