Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major global health threat, exacerbated by globalization which facilitates the spread of resistant bacteria. Addressing this issue requires a One Health perspective, involving humans, animals, and the environment. This study aims to compare the phenotypic resistance profiles of 69 clinical bacterial isolates (Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonaceae) from a Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Spain with their genotypic resistance profiles based on the presence of Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamases (ESBLs), AmpC and carbapenemases -enconding genes.

Background And Objectives: Primary objectives: to compare the rates of sustained clinical remission at 12 months in patients treated with antitumour necrosis factor (anti-TNF) and immunomodulators who withdraw anti-TNF treatment versus those who maintain it.

Secondary Objectives: to evaluate the effect of anti-TNF withdrawal on relapse-free time, endoscopic and radiological activity, safety, quality of life and work productivity; and to identify predictive factors for relapse.

Design: Prospective, quadruple-blind, multicentre, randomised, controlled trial.

Peri-implantitis associated with dental implants shares characteristics with destructive periodontal diseases. Both conditions are multifactorial and strongly correlated with the presence of microorganisms surrounding the prostheses or natural dentition. This study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial activity and toxicity of a mucoadhesive hydrogel functionalized with aminochalcone (HAM-15) against Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Fusobacterium periodonticum, Prevotella intermedia, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Tannerella forsythia, and Candida albicans.
