Introduction: Following tooth extraction, there is comparatively more bone loss at the buccal aspect at 3 months of healing, which may result in 56% bone loss due to resorption of the bucco-facial ridge contour. In the socket shield technique, a tooth is planned for extraction in such a way that the tooth is sectioned in two halves, a palatal section is removed and the facial part is retained.

The clinical immunogenicity assessment for complex multidomain biological drugs is challenging due to multiple factors that must be taken into consideration. Here, we describe a strategy to overcome multiple bioanalytical challenges in order to assess anti-drug antibodies (ADA) for a novel and unique chemically modified protein therapeutic. A risk-centered approach was adopted to evaluate the immunogenic response to a modified version of human growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) connected to an albumin-binding fatty acid via a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker.

Background: Groundnut is mainly grown in the semi-arid tropic (SAT) regions worldwide, where abiotic stress like drought is persistent. However, a major research gap exists regarding exploring the genetic and genomic underpinnings of tolerance to drought. In this study, a multi-parent advanced generation inter-cross (MAGIC) population was developed and evaluated for five seasons at two locations for three consecutive years (2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21) under drought stress and normal environments.

Neprilysin is a cell surface metallo-endopeptidase, commonly identified as neutral endopeptidase (NEP), that plays a crucial role in the cleavage of peptides, for example, natriuretic peptides, angiotensin II, enkephalins, endothelin, bradykinin, substance P, glucagon-like peptide and amyloid beta. In the case of heart failure, a significant upsurge in NEP activity and expression enhances the degradation of natriuretic peptides. Therefore, NEP inhibitors have gained attention in the field of cardiology.
