This study investigates the degradation behavior of three distinct Fe-based alloys immersed in three pseudo-physiological solutions. These alloys, which have varied Mn and C contents, include a commercially available Fe-0.15C alloy, namely Fe-C, and two newly developed alloys, that is Fe-5Mn-0.

Management guidelines for CRAT are lacking, and its occurrence poses clinical challenges. Here, we describe the case of an infectious CRAT in a young patient on hemodialysis with peculiar clinical complications and perform a literature review.

Direct DNA binding of transcription factors ultimately drives context-specific recruitment of the basal transcriptional machinery that comprises RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) and a host of polymerase-associated multiprotein complexes, including the metazoan-specific Integrator complex. Integrator is primarily known to modulate RNAPII processivity and to surveil RNA integrity across coding genes.
