Due to the objectives established by the European Union and other countries, hydrogen production will be a key technology in the coming decades. There are several starting materials and procedures for its production. All methods have advantages and disadvantages, and the improvements in their performance and decreases in operational costs will be decisive in determining which of them is implemented.

The present contribution describes two drug delivery systems for topical administration of vitamin C. The electrospun poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) nanofiber carrier of vitamin C exhibits a burst release profile (66 mg/g/h followed by 6.

Its versatility is demonstrated thought the preparation of multilayered functional nanofibers for wound healing, nanofiber mesh for particle filtration, high-aspect ratio printed lines, and freestanding aligned nanofibers.

September 2020
Nanomaterials are commonly considered as those materials in which the shape and molecular composition at a nanometer scale can be controlled. Subsequently, they present extraordinary properties that are being useful for the development of new and improved applications in many fields, including medicine. In dentistry, several research efforts are being conducted, especially during the last decade, for the improvement of the properties of materials used in dentistry.

The setup is easily adapted to any FTIR and fiber-coupled Raman spectrometers and gas analysis techniques. It allows for simultaneous FTIR and Raman spectroscopic measurement, which provide complementary characterization of adsorbed species, reaction intermediates, and structural properties of the catalyst.
