Predictors of dropout in cognitive behavior and interpersonal online brief psychotherapies for essential professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Premature dropout from psychotherapy can harm patients and increase mental health costs. This study identified predictors of dropout in brief online psychotherapy for essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a secondary analysis of a randomized trial on 4-week CBT or IPT protocols.

Antiproton annihilation at rest in thin solid targets and comparison with Monte Carlo simulations.

The mechanism of antiproton-nucleus annihilation at rest is not fully understood, despite substantial previous experimental and theoretical work. In this study we used slow extracted antiprotons from the ASACUSA apparatus at CERN to measure the charged particle multiplicities and their energy deposits from antiproton annihilations at rest on three different nuclei: carbon, molybdenum and gold. The results are compared with predictions from different models in the simulation tools Geant4 and FLUKA.

Enhanced psychoeducation (EP), which includes empathic listening, risk stratification, symptom monitoring, and habit modification is particularly suitable for SSIs. We investigate predictors of response to an online EP intervention among essential service professionals during COVID-19 in Brazil.
