Introduction: Human cytomegalovirus (Orthoherpesviridae: ) (HCMV) is one of the most commonly detected viruses in recipients of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell (allo-HSCT) transplants. However, the emergence of resistance to antiviral drugs such as ganciclovir (GCV) poses a challenge in managing these patients. This study aims to investigate the prevalence and impact of mutations in the HCMV UL97 gene associated with resistance to GCV on the course of infection among allo-HSCT patients.

GA is an essential component of the ECT procedure for various reasons (Lee, Jenkins and Sparkle, Life 11, 2021). Monitoring anesthetic effects on the brain is desirable as anesthetic agents affect seizure duration and recovery (Rasulo, Hopkins, Lobo, et al, Neurocrit Care 38:296-311, 2023) (Jones , Nittur , Fleming and Applegate, BMC Anesthesiol 21:105, 2021) (Soehle , Kayser , Ellerkmann and Schlaepfer, BJA 112:695-702, 2013).

The mixture of pseudocereal and cereal flour contained buckwheat flour 45%, rice flour 33%, and millet flour 22%. Three gluten-free breads; each containing different contents of gluten-free flour (90%, 80%, and 70%, respectively); okara (10%, 20%, and 30%, respectively); and a control sample (without okara); were prepared and subjected to sensory evaluation.

One of the most promising solutions is the fabrication of special nanocomposites containing transition-metal dichalcogenides and various carbon-based nanophases. This study aims to explore the influence of graphite-like carbon (g-C) and Ni interface layers on the tribological properties of thin WS films.
