An innovative process to multifunctional vitrimer nanocomposites with a percolative MXene minor phase is reported, marking a significant advancement in creating stimuli-repairable, reinforced, sustainable, and conductive nanocomposites at diminished loadings. This achievement arises from a Voronoi-inspired biphasic morphological design via a straight-forward three-step process involving ambient-condition precipitation polymerization of micron-sized prepolymer powders, aqueous powder-coating with 2D MXene (TiCT), and melt-pressing of MXene-coated powders into crosslinked films. Due to the formation of MXene-rich boundaries between thiourethane vitrimer domains in a pervasive low-volume fraction conductive network, a low percolation threshold (≈0.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to analyze the health outcomes of children after they were discharged from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) over a six-month period, focusing on physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.
  • The research involved 135 children aged 1 month to 18 years, collecting data through assessments at multiple time points: upon PICU admission, discharge, and then at 1, 3, and 6 months post-discharge.
  • The findings revealed three distinct recovery trajectories, showing that while most children recovered to baseline levels, a smaller group experienced severe outcomes, including higher rates of post-traumatic stress syndrome by the six-month mark.

Background: Chest pain is the second most common reason to present to the emergency department in the United States, and the ECG is a first-line diagnostic tool for myocardial ischemia assessment. For patients with ongoing symptoms or unclear initial ECGs, guidelines recommend performing multiple standard ECGs at 15-30-min intervals during the first 1-2 h, which improves acute coronary syndrome (ACS) detection by 15 % and accelerates triage of high-risk ACS patients. However, obtaining serial ECG is not consistently practiced due to overcrowding and the limited technical abilities of current 12‑lead ECG machines.

Background: Attending clinic appointments supports HIV viral suppression, yet racial disparities are documented. We assessed whether multilevel resilience resources were associated with appointment attendance among African American/Black (AA/B) adults living with HIV in the United States.

Methods: We ascertained data from 291 AA/B clinical cohort participants from 2018 to 2021.

Over the last decade, especially since the pandemic, more research has been happening online. Conducting research online can create opportunities to include autistic people across the world and make our studies more diverse. However, conducting research online had led to scammers, or people pretending to be autistic, participating in autism research studies.
